The Blue Mountains Artist Studio Trail
The Studio Trails was created by the Blue Mountains Artist Connection (BMAC) to help residents and visitors to the Blue Mountains of NSW discover and visit arts related attractions. This community of talented artists welcome you to their beautiful Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, home of the Wollemi Pine, and to share with you their enjoyment of the world of Art and creativity.
The Blue Mountains Art Trail website provides accommodation and route suggestions for their numerous artist studios listed from Lapstone to Lithgow. A guidebook is also available, detailing the artists featured on the website and giving examples of their work.
Artists include Ulla Heckel, Anna Kling, Adrian Gilbert, Des Connor, John Caldwell and Ray Harrington.
This project is supported by the Blue Mountains Cultural Partnership Program 2005, through the Blue Mountains City Council. It is also supported by funding under Regional Partnerships, an Australian Government initiative in Regional Australia, developed with the assistance of GROW Employment Council.In 2006 the Blue Mountain Artists Company won the Industry and Enterprise Development Award.
